A customer needed a gift for a Sports Radio Newscaster. The announcer picture was created from a reference piece of clip art, and then I added the sports paraphernalia.

This customer wanted an airbrushed shirt but did not want it to look like airbrush. I suppose a lot of people think of airbrush artists as those people that paint beach scenes and name designs at the shore. We do DO that stuff, but that is only a fraction of what we do.

Bob Marley T-shirt

I painted this one for fun and I had painted this particular picture of Bob Marley many times before- but just in black and white. The colors really made it pop off of our display.

Caricatures

These were two simple caricatures that were gifts for the people depicted. I say simple because I am used to doing more elaborate caricatures with the full body and more things going on in the shirt. When I get a chance I will post an example of what I mean.

Double Pet Portrait on Canvas

That’s right, ‘s the same two dogs as the license plate–just a different picture. For this project I painted grey first, then black, then brown, then dark brown, pink for the tongue and then finished with white highlights on the eyes, noses & mouth.

This was such a great picture that the customer brought in, it worked out perfectly for this license plate.

German Shepherd

This statue was originally painted black. The client wanted it to look more like a classic German Shepherd. The client brought it in on a hand truck and I went to move the thing–It weighs 300 pounds. It was painted with enamels and clear coated. It was going on a porch, but I still wanted it to withstand the elements.

Hotdog Staff Shirt

This client wanted a unique look for the staff shirts of her hotdog business. She was tired of regular screen printed shirts, so we came up with this design.

This is a boxer is airbrushed on stretched canvas. I really liked the photo the client brought in, it looks like the dog is posing for the photo.
